This course provides a basic understanding of due diligence and how it works for you and your organization. A discussion of the rights and responsibilities of all employees/employers in the workplace and what they mean. This course provides participants with an overview of the Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations. Participants will receive the appropriate tools to view safety in the workplace as a continuous practice. The objective of this course is to develop Due Diligence as a workplace standard.

  • Defining Due Diligence

  • What are the three Rights of Employees?

  • Establishing and understanding why safe work practices are important

  • Identifying the difficulties of proving due diligence

  • Establishing the foundation required to develop a systematic structure to build due diligence as a standard within the workplace

This live streamed, interactive presentation will be held using Zoom.  Session will be 2.5-3 hrs in duration with time for Q&A.
