Motorcycle training & licenSing course

Looking to get your motorcycle license in Nova Scotia? Our blended motorcycle licensing course combines online theory and in-person practical training to help you gain the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed for safe riding on Nova Scotia roads.

The online portion covers street safety, risk management, and essential riding techniques, preparing you for the hands-on experience. During the in-person practical sessions, you’ll apply building-block training principles to develop safe and effective riding skills.

To complete the course, you must pass both the online written test and the in-person rider evaluation. Our instructors are provincially accredited and can issue a Nova Scotia motorcycle driver’s license upon successful completion of the course.

We will supply you with a motorcycle for the course.

Students MUST bring the following to ALL practical training sessions:
1. Motorcycle Helmet (minimum DOT approved)
2. Gloves (preferably leather - fingerless gloves are not allowed)
3. Sturdy jacket and pants (leather or denim)
4. Boots that cover the ankle (preferably leather - sneakers & rubber boots are not allowed)
5. Rain gear (course will run in rain or shine)
6. Valid NS driver’s license - minimum beginners license (class 7)
7. Copy of certificate of completion for the online portion of the course prior to practical session
8. Copy of your receipt indicating payment for the course
* Students must be between the ages of 16-75 to participate in the motorcycle training course.
