Jackie Norman

Jackie was born in Scotland and moved to Canada in 1972. She started working at SSNS in 1981 as an Administrative Assistant, since then she has worked her way up to President and CEO. In her free time Jackie enjoys exercising, reading and power boating. 

Joe Treen

Joe Treen

Joe has been with Safety Services Nova Scotia since 2007 as the OHS Director and has worked in the safety and risk management field professionally for 22 yrs. Having many years of experience working in very broad range of industries has provided Joe with a broad, balanced perspective and ability to adapt to varying working environments.

Jill Schwartz

Jill Schwartz

Jill ran her own business for 10 years before she started working for SSNS in 2008. Jill is the Finance and Office Manager, and also handles marketing and the Safety Leader Membership Program.

Mike Tops

Mike Tops

Michael has been with Safety Services Nova Scotia since 1999.  He started as a motorcycle instructor and during his tenure in that program he diversified and started instructing other road safety programs such as Defensive Driving.

Ed Snow

Ed Snow

Ed started as a motorcycle instructor in 2003 and became the Motorcycle Training Manager in 2009. Ed rides a variety of motorcycles including a Honda Goldwing, Victory Crosscountry, Harley Ultras Classic, and a Honda Valkyrie.

Dakota Wallace

Dakota Wallace

Dakota has been working at Safety Services Nova Scotia since 2013. She graduated from NSCC with a certificate in Office Administration.  Dakota’s role at SSNS is to be the first point of contact for all clients.

Jenny Fountain

Jenny Fountain

Jenny started working at SSNS in 2014. She was born in Montreal, but left Canada at the age of 7. She has lived and moved around the world, including places like Saudi Arabia and the UK, until finally settling back in Canada, Nova Scotia in 2005. In her free time Jenny enjoys cooking, swimming and spending as much time by or in the ocean as possible and of course most importantly taking care of her two dogs Bryon and Morley.

Tony Fountain

Tony Fountain

Tony started as a motorcycle instructor in 2006 and became a chief instructor and the motorcycle program fleet mechanic in 2011. Tony enjoys riding and working on motorcycles, windsurfing and his two dogs Bryon and Morley.
