Please note: our annual School Bus Safety Awareness campaign is October 21-25, 2013. Plans include a contest, police checkpoints, safety information posted in traditional and social media and on the SSNS website. The goal is to remind the public not to pass a school bus which is stopped to load or unload students. Children are crossing the street at this time and may be injured or killed by a vehicle that is passing the bus illegally.
